Team chat
Put IntelliSee alerts in the Slack channels your team already works in.

Weapon detected1
What arrives
One post with the context to act on.
- What was detected
The event type, so members know at a glance whether this is a weapon, a person down, a slip risk or a perimeter event.
- Where it happened
The camera and its location, named the way your site names it.
- What the camera saw
The detection image or a link to it, so people can assess the moment before they move.
In practice
Make the channel part of your response plan.
Route by event and place
Send each event type and site to the channel whose members can act on it: security for weapons, facilities for slip risks, clinical staff for a person down.
Mind who can see the channel
Everyone in a channel can see the detection images posted there. Keep membership deliberate, review guest access, and agree how long posts are kept.
Keep your procedures in charge
A Slack post creates shared awareness. Escalation, emergency calls and other response actions still follow your organization’s procedures and named responders.
Plan your next step
Bring your Slack setup into view.
Before your walkthrough
Bring your Slack workspace administrator, the channels you want to use, the event types that matter at each site, and the people responsible for the response.
What we’ll work through
We’ll confirm how alerts reach each channel, which fields and images are included, who can see them, and how delivery is tested and monitored after go-live.

Common questions
Integration planning questions
Can IntelliSee alerts go to Microsoft Teams, Slack or Google Chat?
Yes. Configured alerts can post to a Teams channel, a Slack channel or a Google Chat space with the event type, time, camera location and a detection image or link. Treat the channel as part of your alert path: agree who is in it, what they do when an alert arrives, and how you will notice if delivery stops.
Can event images leave the site?
Yes, configured alerts or integrations can include event images or image links. Review the actual payload, recipients, storage, and retention with your IT and operational teams.
Who should join an integration walkthrough?
Include camera/VMS administration, IT networking, the notification or chat platform owner, the operational response owner, and your integrator if one supports the site. Each controls a different part of the workflow.
